This collection features two historical feudal currency notes from Ise Province. The first is from the Tsu Domain, dated 1775 (An'ei 4), a domain-issued silver note. These were used as silver-backed currency in the region, specifically from the Washi Flying Domain, and are of significant historical value. The Tsu Domain was a prominent feudal lordship, and its Daimyo-issued notes were critical for local trade and economy during the Edo period.

The second note is from the Kameyama Domain, also in Ise Province, issued as a silver deposit note. Denominated in 1/10th of a momme of silver (1 bu), it was used for payment of goods and local taxes. The Kameyama Domain, which ruled areas around modern-day Kameyama City in Mie Prefecture, was a Fudai Han, or a hereditary domain loyal to the Tokugawa Shogunate. These notes were used to regulate the local economy and show the influence of regional lords in managing fiscal operations.

Both notes are in good to average condition, reflecting the typical wear of documents this age, making them valuable artifacts for those interested in Japanese monetary history from the late 18th to early 19th century.
