This pre-war/WWII Mizuwaki label was produced by Sato Shoten, an alcohol distributor based in Gunma Prefecture, Japan. The label, measuring approximately 16.5 cm by 25 cm, features distinctive design elements from the era, including the flag of Manchukuo (Manchuria), which was a Japanese puppet state during the period.

Sato Shoten was likely involved in the production and distribution of alcoholic beverages such as sake or shochu, and this label may have been used for products either sold domestically or exported to Manchukuo.

A rare find for collectors of vintage Japanese labels or those with an interest in historical Japanese ephemera, this item holds both aesthetic and historical value.
