Known for producing armor for museums and films, as well as pieces worn by renowned figures like Shohei Ohtani, Marutake Sangyo ensures authenticity and visual impact in every detail.
The armor features iron-rust finishes with navy lacing and a cloud dragon motif across the two-plate cuirass (dō). It comes with a comprehensive set of components, including the kabuto (helmet) with "maru ni chō" and kuwagata crests, mempō (face mask), sode (shoulder guards), kote (armored sleeves), haidate (thigh guards), and sunate (shin guards).
Also included is a sturdy wooden armor storage chest (yoroi-bitsu) with handles and a matching stand for display. The armor’s total height, when displayed, is approximately 150 cm, while the chest dimensions are 40 cm x 44 cm x 54 cm.
This reproduction, dating to pre-1984 (Showa 59), was previously displayed in an exhibition room and remains in excellent vintage condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age. It has been cleaned and is ready to enhance any interior as a stunning decorative piece or conversation starter.
