This vintage maekake apron, crafted in the 1950s or 60s, is a product of Da Nippon Seito, a company established in Meiji 39 (1906). A deadstock item from the Showa era, it has never been used, though it may show slight signs of aging such as fading or creases due to long-term storage. Made from indigo-dyed canvas, it features a traditional design on both sides. With dimensions of approximately 68 cm in length and 47 cm in width, this apron offers a unique connection to Japan’s sugar industry heritage and serves as a valuable collectible from the Showa period.
